Here’s how to drop a save file for Shadow of the Tomb Raider manually using File Explorer FOR NOOBS:
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Open File Explorer:
- Click on the folder icon on your taskbar or press

to open File Explorer.
- Click on the folder icon on your taskbar or press
- Navigate to the Save File Location:
- In the address bar of File Explorer (at the top), paste the following path

- In the address bar of File Explorer (at the top), paste the following path
- Find Your User ID Folder:
- In the

folder, you'll see a folder, it’s a long string of numbers. - Open that folder.

- Backup Your Existing Saves (Optional):
- You will see your current save files here. To back them up, right-click on the save files and select Copy.
- Create a new folder anywhere you like (e.g., on your Desktop) by right-clicking on an empty space, selecting New > Folder, and naming it something like “SOTTR Save Backup.”
- Paste the copied save files into this new folder by right-clicking and selecting Paste.
- Add the New Save File:
- Go back to the original folder (in Documents > Shadow of the Tomb Raider > [Your User ID]).
- Copy the new save file you want to use.
- Paste the new save file into this folder (right-click and select Paste).
- Launch the Game:
- Once you have placed the save file in the folder, start the game and verify that it’s recognized correctly.
