!UPDATE!
Faded Realism is now updated for ReShade 5.4.2 (newest version). As usual, it comes with the ReShade files and so you don't need to reinstall ReShade before installing my presets. There is now v1 and v2 presets.

  • v1: The original Faded Realism with the shader load-order optimized
  • v2: More faded visuals compared to v1 if v1 was too subtle.
  • RTGI presets: One for v1 and v2. They do NOT come with the RTGI shader files but only the instructions for RTGI. You will need to have RTGI and will have to copy-paste them into the "reshade-shaders" folders. Please use RTGI 0.33 or newer.

As in the installation, please turn-off SSAO, Depth Blur and anti-aliasing in the game menu. You can set anything else to whatever you like. Adjust the brightness to whatever level you want as well. I usually set mine to maximum.

Does Sekiro seem like it's too vibrant? This ReShade preset will tone colors down while applying other visual effects to uplift the game's native visuals and add a more gritty look.

Warning: This preset is NOT performance friendly. It is recommended for those who are using an Nvidia RTX gpu or any AMD equivalent. This preset also uses effects that adds physical effects (shaders that doesn't just change the colors of the pixels) and therefore will have uncanny effects such as see-through UI or weird flashing during loading screens. This is totally normal and is just ReShade's limitation as a post-processing injector program.

This preset is most recommended for those crazy shinobis who likes to capturing HUD-less gameplay with the intent of doing video editing afterwards.
