About this mod

This mod changes several of the tracks of the game with various tracks from other media I personally like and found fitting to the setting.

It mainly focuses on combat tracks and bosses.

Permissions and credits
I tried to keep the tracks as close to the original vision of the game as possible. Meaning the sound is not "modern", or too bombastic, but remains grounded. What I generally found was that tracks lacked the required punch or tempo to give an identity to the fights.

There are small issues like volume not being equalized on all tracks, but for the most part they are not jarring. If you find them to be so you can point them to me so I can make some improvements.

I took the liberty to splice tracks between boss phases, so you have a better pacing and to give a more appropriate pacing to the tracks. So you can hear the musical drop for the start of Phase 2.

The sources I drew upon were movies like Sword of the Stranger, Moribito:Guardian of the Spirit, Ryu Ga Gotoku:Ishin(most of the replacements) and the Dark Souls franchise. Most of what was changed are boss fights, minibosses and some general combat tracks. Ambient and stealth remain unchanged.

I am open to suggestions for improving the quality through feedback and maybe new additions

In the videos section you can find some of the replacements and judge the quality by yourself.
