部分精英怪有独占的BGM,所有BOSS都有独占的BGM(鬼行部除外,他太弱了,没资格)。

Current Version: 1.0.0

MOD Description:
This mod replaces the in-game BGM of Sekiro to the BGM of the Nier series, including Replicant and Automata.

Scene BGM, battle music and BOSS BGM are replaced, while the BGM during alert are kept ('alert' meaning that the enemies have a yellow triangle on their heads). This is aiming to keep the atmosphere of Sekiro while Nierising the game.

Some mini-bosses have their own BGM. All bosses have their own BGM (expect horseman, he is too weak to be a boss).

Why I want to do this:
I think the BGM of Sekiro is pretty average. The in-game atmosphere is all right, but nothing special, sometime even annoying. Also, since I have been playing the game using the 2B MOD, why not Nierise the game further then. Thus here is this mod. I put a lot of work into it, hope you like it.

Installation:
Copy all the FSB files from this mod into the "sound" folder of your MOD folder. If you do not have a "sound" folder, just create one. You can use this MOD with other character voice MOD.

Known Issues:
Many looping points are not yet set, since this is really really a lot of work. This will take time, I aim to implement them in later versions. But the impact should not be much, since the BGM of Nier are usually quite long and it is quite likely that the battle music would kick in and interrupt the scene BGM. Looping points have been set for shorter BGM.

Another thing is that, though I have set two tracks each for many bosses, the second track may not get triggered if the fights do not have significant changes between different parts, or if you beat them too quickly.

One last thing is that, the conditions for triggering a few tracks are still unknown. Therefore, I do not know what they are for and I am keeping them for the moment. May address them in later updates.

Easter Eggs:
Pay attention to the animations of the mortal blade and the one going to the Palace.

Something else:
When just started, I once considered matching BOSS to BOSS for music selection. Then, I gave up, sine the two games are too different. Thus I chose music based on purely subjective feelings.

You can tell the two games are massively different by their music. Nier is in fact a RPG, and therefore has long, lyrical, emotional, story-telling music. The tracks are long as well, usually more than 4 minutes, with low looping frequencies. While Sekiro is more or less a pure ACT, thus the BGM are short and looping frequencies are high.

I also considered whether to use the orchestral version for some bosses. But then I found out that the effects were not so great on computer, and
thus I did not do it (proper hifi needed for good orchestrals). I have also tried the hacking tracks from 9S on some enemies, the effects were no good either. So I opted to use the normal BGM at last. Lastly, I wanted to replace the music of the staff list movie, and I have successfully replaced it, but then, I found out that the MOD Engine could not replace the movies...well...
