About this mod

Removes the small hop at the end of the Shadow Dash.

This mod is an edit of Shadow Blink mod by BandicootPWR. They are a very talented modder, I highly suggest checking out their work & the original mod.
Edit: I mistakenly credited matalayu as the creator of the original Shadow Blink. Regardless, matalayu's Great Shinobi Dodge - Shadow Steps is still super cool mod and adds more combat oriented functions for the Mist Raven.

Shadow Dash: use mist raven while sprinting to dash forward
Shadow Blink: use mist raven while jumping in the air to do a double jump

Dashing Edition Edit:

  • Sekiro no longer hops at the end of Shadow Dash.

  • Instead you may cancel out of the dashing animation at any time using any input except jump and use item button. (I recommend just pressing dash/dodge button to cancel, it looks the best.)

  • If you do not cancel out of the dashing animation, Sekiro will slowly becoming visible and glide like a mermaid until the animation is complete.

  • Unfortunately you cannot spam the mist raven to continue the Shadow Dash unless you are an input god.

There are no edits to Shadow Blink.

Extra Notes:
  • You can switch prosthetics and item slots while dashing but that will not cancel the dash.
  • You can interact with walls, ledges, and NPCs to cancel out of the dash.
  • You can grapple out of the dash to cancel it if there is a grapple point nearby.
  • You can crouch to cancel the dash but you will not perform a run and slide.
  • You can do sharp turns while dashing, but only halfway through the animation. (Not very useful but it's there.)
  • Using Shadow Blink or Dash does not cost spirit emblems (but regular mist raven use still has costs). If you are hit while using Shadow Blink or Dash, Sekiro will act as if mist raven was active, thus moving you in a direction and costing emblems (so like double the raven lol).
