Main Features:

  • Convenient Integrated Controls: Dpad-Down + Right Joystick   or   Tab + Mouse. No faffing about with hotkeys or rebinding keyboard keys to your controller.

  • Weapon wheel configurator menu accessible from the pause menu via mouse and gamepad.

  • Add between 6 and 10 items to your wheel!

  • Completely SAFE combat art switching: Older alternatives such as "Fluid Combat Arts", "Combat Artist", or "Art of the Battle" used an unsafe method that can corrupt your save by either making Sekiro permanently weaponless or deleting the combat art you were attempting to use.

  • Non-parasitic combat art and prosthetic switching:  Other implementations will often overwrite the animation buffer when equipping a combat art while a combat art is being used, causing issues with janky animations and inconsistent damage values. While the effect looks very cool, it ultimately detracts from gameplay.

  • No need to rebuild your wheel every time you relaunch the game! Automatically saves your weapon wheel configuration when it is changed and loads it on launch!

  • Integrated Sekiro UI sound effects!

  • Optional time slow when the wheel is open!

  • Added support for chainloading from this dll!

  • Multi language support

  • Now supports extra modded equipment, but still without updated or extra icons. To add or replace icons, create a 256x256 png and save it as the id.png like the other images in the resources folder.

Limitations:
  • Changing game resolution or fullscreen/windowed will break the gui. Relaunch the game for the change to take effect. Arguably you should do this anyway because Sekiro sucks at resolution scaling and usually looks like poop without a restart.
  • There is only one weapon wheel loadout configuration. I can add more configurations or per-save slot configurations later if people desire.
  • Images are still manual
  • Sekiro 1.06 only (the latest version). From what I've heard, attempting to use it on earlier versions won't crash the game, but the wheel won't show up.

Installation:

Drag the dinput8.dll and WeaponWheelResources folder into your Sekiro folder. Done!

This will replace your Mod Engine dinput8 with the weapon wheel dinput8. If you want to use this with other mod engine mods, follow these directions:

  • Rename the weapon wheel mod dll to something different and unique, such as "WeaponWheel.dll"
  • Open the modengine.ini file in your Sekiro folder.
  • Look for "Chain load" and follow those directions.

Chainloading allows the game to load Mod Engine's dinput8 file, which can then load whatever file is specified in the modengine.ini file.
Make sure to back up your save file. Having multiple mods interacting with one another can cause unintended issues to crop up.

Update 1.0.2: You can now chainload another dll in the Sekiro folder if you rename it to something else like "debugmenu.dll" and paste that name into the chainload.txt in the WeaponWheelResources folder. This would allow you to have 3 dll mods or more if the 3rd one also chain loads.
