TL;DR
1. Hero PvP Mods I have posted do not give advantages and are tested for fairness.

2. Client-side problems aren't cheating; optional mods can help.  New Skills - Replacer & Standalone Pack

3. Share footage if you think any mods are unbalanced.

Throughout the development, planning, and modding of the Hero PvP Characters, there are several important points I need to address. Before getting into specifics, I want to clarify two things:

First, I’ve heard that the Hero PvP Rebalance Mod I posted was created for someone in a video. I want to make it clear that this is not true; that individual was not involved in the project during its development and was not made for them. You can find more details here

Second, I am created this article to help people understand the effort I am putting into achieving balance for those who do not use any PvP mods. This video is not motivated by spite, personal opinions, or towards anyone. I will only address the rumors that have been circulating about the mods.

Q: Do the Hero PvP Mods I posted give an advantage to those who don’t have the file?

A: No, they do not. Before I began modding Hero PvP, I wanted to ensure that the mods would be fair and balanced for players who do not use any Hero PvP mods or mods in general. I conducted several tests for damage output on unique weapons and unique skills for the characters, ensuring that they wouldn’t result in one-shot kills or unfair advantages over vanilla Hero PvP characters.

For example, Tiese's unique skill went through seven adjustments for balance before its release. Without these tests, it could have easily wiped out any character, even bypassing tanks avoid instant death at 50% health or higher, with a hitbox larger than a Gatling gun weapon art.

Q: I can't see animations on some of the Hero PvP characters. That is an advantage that is also cheating

A: This is not an advantage and should not be considered cheating. Balancing Hero PvP is challenging, especially without anyone to test with or a lobby for 1v1 matches. It is easy to make Hero PvP unfair by becoming invincible, moving very quickly without running, or defeating characters in a single hit. The issue you are experiencing is a client-side problem. As I mentioned earlier, this should not be viewed as an advantage or cheating. If you are using mods and want to resolve the problem, here are my suggestions:

1. New Skills - Replacer: This mod allows you to see Ronye, Tiese, and the Hakai Brothers' unique skills. It adds original sword skills along with cut content skills while keeping the skills created by Aquoso.

2. Standalone Pack: This mod adds the new weapons from Aquoso and Kuroi Karasu while also adding new outfits, accessories, and cut content weapon ranks, all without loss of progress. If you prefer not to download those mods, that is perfectly fine. I can not resolve the issue since it is solely on the client side being on your end.

Q: Do the Hero PvP Mods ruin the experience for other players in a match?

A: I understand that some players prefer to play Hero PvP without any mods. However, each person’s playstyle can vary significantly based on their knowledge of PvP. I’ve occasionally lost to players who don’t use any Hero PvP mods.

For example, many people claim that Shiki is unbalanced and unkillable. However, few realize that she doesn't have the standard loadout of a tank.

Shiki lacks the Shield Matrix that all tanks possess, which makes her more vulnerable. However, she offers better survivability if you can effectively manage her limited resources. If you don’t use them properly, you may find yourself dying frequently in-game. Playing as Shiki requires knowledge of when to use Hyper Awareness and Cloak to disengage from combat.

One last thing before I conclude all of this: there has been another rumor that I do not know how to balance the Hero PvP mods I have posted.

For those who believe this misinformation, please visit my Mod Testing Channel linked here to see my testing process before releasing the hero-modded characters. I hope this clarifies many of the issues and rumors surrounding this topic. If you genuinely believe that any of the modded Hero PvP characters are unbalanced, please share gameplay footage with me.

You can send it via YouTube, Dropbox, or any other method you prefer. Feel free to leave the link in the comments on the specific Hero PvP mod page on Nexus Mod, and I will respond as soon as I can. The reason I say this is that I can not rely on hearsay without evidence.

Otherwise, I may end up creating characters that are broken for those without the file. I will investigate the matter regardless of any past issues or disagreements, just as I have done before. If you made it this far in the article, thank you. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to hear me out, and I hope this addresses any issues that may have arisen beforehand.
