I've always hated the beard on the uncle sam suit. I know it's meant to be in reference to his iconic appearance, but it didn't stop it from ruining an otherwise great and fitting outfit for our gang-leader turned POTUS.
This mod simply removes the beard using alpha channels. Unfortunately, when you use your super powers, you will see a ghost beard. There's no way to fix this without editing the model which is currently impossible with any current modding tools.
The archive includes 2 folders: a "vanilla" folder which includes the new custmesh files as well as a patched customize_item.asm_pc from the vanilla (re-elected) game, and a "source" folder of the original decompiled files in-case you're already using other texture mods and want to patch your current customize_item.asm_pc yourself.
Regardless, the custmesh files and the customize_item.asm_pc both need to go into the "mods" folder that's next to the .exe.
