About this mod

Adds haptic effects for "Rush" in the bhaptics Tactsuit models. Effects include gliding, crashes, and pickups.

Requirements
 
  • MelonLoader 0.6.1 or higher. For MelonLoader <= 0.5.7 compatibility, download an older version (<2.0.0) of the mod. https://melonwiki.xyz/

Installation

  • Download and install MelonLoader (and the requirements for it if needed) into the game's directory.
  • Download and extract the zip file of this mod into the "Mods" subdirectory of your game directory.
  • Inside the "Mods\library_stripping" subdirectory, run the file "Unstrip_system_libraries.bat".

    You might need to click "More info" and allow Windows to run this unknown file "anyways". It will copy the Unity system libraries from MelonLoader into the game, because they were hollowed out in this very game, sadly.

    Everything runs fine with the unstripped libraries. But if you ever want to get the original versions back, they are stored in the "Mod\library_stripping\old_libraries" subfolder, and there is a batch script there for your convenience to copy them back.
  • You are done, just start the bhaptics Player and then the game how you normally would.

Description

This mod communicates with the bhaptics gear when certain events are detected in "Rush" to give you haptic feedback. These are some of the currently implemented haptic effects:

  • Gliding with varying speed
  • Catching special pickups
  • Crashing
