wanted an “older” looking amber but i also wanted to keep as much of her design as possible. so i made this :p

12/10/24: PORTRAITS UPDATED (i didn't forget to update the main page, you did)
- slightly reshaped jawline, fixed choppy hair with sleepwear and swimsuit, fixed a gap in swimsuit bottoms and redid thigh shape, touched up wedding portrait, + other small quality changes that i can't remember LOL
in my head, Amber is SUPPOSED to be about 19-20. i don't mind that she's younger than all the other bachelor/ettes (who i imagine are mostly early to mid twenties), and i honestly have no romantic interest in her at all, but the fact that she can have a kid while looking the exact same age as said kid is. troubling.
weirdness aside, i edited her portraits with the goal to make her look as old as the other bachelorettes. i kept her height the same because there's nothing wrong with a short queen, but did a lot of rearranging of her proportions. changes i made to her portraits include:
I ONLY EDITED HER PORTRAITS. this mod will not effect her dialogue or her model at all. her wedding portraits have also been done, but i haven't looked at them in-game. and tbh, since i don't ever plan on marrying her, i doubt i'll ever see them for myself lol. feel free to let me know how those turned out because i have a sneaking suspicion they might be janky..... my bad
a mod with the same concept was made by violasarecool! if you somehow stumbled upon mine before theirs, and if you find that my work isn't up your alley, then head over there and check that one out too!
HOW TO INSTALL
after downloading this mod, you can either EXTRACT or CUT AND PASTE the contents from the zipped folder into the RF4 Bundle folder (Program Files x86 > Steam > steamapps > common > Rune Factory 4 Special > Bundle). IF YOU HAVE OTHER AMBER PORTRAIT MODS, THEY WILL BE OVERWRITTEN.
once the .texture files are in your Bundle folder, you can load up your game as usual and enjoy an amber who isn't physically a child :p

- smaller eyes
- wider neck
- wider limbs (thighs, arms)
- wider torso (waist and chest)
- lowered waist
- longer, less round face
- broader shoulders
