Hello! I've been playing with the genderswapped pink file you have and I wanted to let you know that theres a file missing from it, I think? Its 00_PLAYER_M_face_006_CRY_233 thats missing and shows Frey with her normal green hair and eyes. I'd fix it myself since it the expression seems like an exact copy of a different expression with a different name (very confused about that) but I have very little knowledge on how to edit texture files or anything like that.
Otherwise, thank you for making this really pretty mod, I can't play without it anymore! I can't imagine how long it takes to do all of this, but I appreciate how responsive you are in these posts to help people.
hi, im so sorry top ask. I am trying to do the gender swapped run with this mod pack, the 33d model is showing recolored but the portraits are still showing the default icons for me, is there something im doing wrong?? I made sure to install this mod AFTER the gender swap mod to make sure it over wrote the texture files, but its still breaking for whatever reason
This is great. My only complaint is that the 3D model still has the dread "nipple clamp". The mod "Frey Redone" has a download that only removes it from the sprite, but it's obviously not compatible. If it's not too inconvenient and you have the time and energy, I hope you can port that change over to this mod.
Oh snap! I didn't remove it on the base outfits. I think it is removed for all the outfit variants, but I'll go through and check those too. Whenever I finish the current updates I am doing I will get around to fixing accidentally leaving that in.
I can't get this mod to work with the genderswap mod, whenever I select the female option "Goodness I'm so high up", it gives me the default Frey with green hair and green eyes. If I select the male option "I'm flying high baby" it then shows me as the recolored Frey but the text in the game still refers to as a man and I play with the male voice. I don't know why this is happening, I tried it with both the Chestnut and Caramel hairs with brown eyes and both results were the same, it only lets me play as recolored Frey if I choose the male option, and I play as default Frey if I choose the female option. I would deeply appreciate any help!
Edit: I apologize, I did not realize that not all the versions worked with the gender swap mod. I tried the pink hair and blue eyes and it works! Is there any more plans to make more gender swapped versions? I would love a black hair + brown eyes or chestnut hair + brown eyes, thank you for reading!
Sorry for the hassle you went through. I am going through and majorly changing how I manage the recolors, so it is taking me a while to get anything new out, but when I am done with that I should be able to quickly get all currently existing color options out as genderswapped variants.
Would it be possible to just add the gloves to the normal outfit as a mod rather than the whole outfit change? I also can see that the princess outfit change doesnt change colours on wardrobe change not sure if thats a mod problem or my issue
Hi, I'm ignorant about mods, is there a way this can be compatible with another mod? I like the dark skin Frey but I'd also like option to change her hair color too.
Unfortunately, not with how the source files work for this game. The hair and skin show up together in all the portraits files as well as every single facial expression file. If the hair was in separate files from the skin, then that could work, but alas.
I'm glad you like it! I still haven't found a good way to modify the files for the genderswap quickly, so I'm going to go ahead and ask if you have an eye color preference between green, blue, brown (or grey/silver or purple, but these colors haven't been developed yet). This way I can prioritize that particular genderswap.
I am using the gender swap mod, so I am using the gender swap version of the file, but it is not working. Other mods work fine. Can you please tell me possible causes? (I use translations because my English is terrible)
The genderswap pink hair files should overwrite some of the files from the genderswap mod. Otherwise, the game might find the genderswap mod files first and just use those. If it is not that, I can try to think of more possible causes.
So i seem to have an issue with this mod when i try to use it with the genderswap mod and i have no idea what's causing it.I renamed the files so that it would match the formatting of the genderswap mod but whenever i start the game and am in the intro i have this issue: https://imgur.com/a/BMB6PMr the resting/normal portrait is shown and then on top of that there's a small cutout of whatever the actual expression is overlayed over it. i am seriously lost on how to fix it. I've tried both pink and lilac and both have this issue.
Oh shoot. I'm so sorry. I made the mistake of assuming things would just work. After downloading the mod and comparing files it appears that the face needs to be in different spot to line up correctly while using the genderswapped mod. I need to find a way to fix this, since I wrongly assumed it would just work and advertised it as such I will make sure to make things work one way or another. Thanks for letting me know.
Ok, I uploaded genderswap pink under optional files. This contains a version of the pink hair and blue eyes that should be compatible with the genderswap mod and all the faces should show up in the correct place. Hopefully that was the color you wanted.
tested it and it works. thank you very much. yes pink was one of the ones i was interested in so i'll definitely be using it in my playthrough now. I know it's probably a lot of work so i'm not going to ask you to do more, but i'm just wondering are you planning on making the rest of them compatible with the genderswap mod too at some point in the future?
At some point, yes I do plan on adding more of the gender swap options. It will probably be after I finish adding the planned eye colors. I'm hoping that while I procrastinate on this I think of a clever way to be able to mass move the faces because then adding the gender swap will be really quick. If I can figure out mass moving all the faces, then I will upload all of the options, otherwise I might just pick some of the most downloaded colors or have people request if they want one of the options to be gender swapped.
