This works in the latest UPDATE 2.0 (July 2025) and patch up date (2.1 & 2.2).

The AZOV 4317 DL Cargo truck vehicle now has the following edits done to make it more usable: bigger wheels & tyres/tires with more grip, more ground clearance, faster gear changes, more engine horsepower/torque. Also has a bigger area of clearing the fog, can go deeper into water before "engine flooding", AWD & Diff lock, better steering.

Everything from the latest update works: Start/stop engine & secure to trailers.


** SETUP **

Download the file

Go to this directory - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RoadCraft\root\paks\client\default (Or go to steam and check local game files)

Backup - default_other.pak

Once backed up, open default_other.pak that is located in the above directory (Not your backup) using Winrar.

Go to - default_other.pak\ssl\autogen_designer_wizard\trucks

In this folder, replace the files with the ones you downloaded. (you may have to unzip the downloaded file) or simply drag across

Confirm any overwrites.

BEFORE LAUNCHING THE GAME DELETE "DEFAULT_OTHER.PAK.CACHE"

This is located in - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RoadCraft\root\paks\client\default (Or different depending on your set up)


MODS NEED TO BE REINSTALLED EVERYTIME THE GAME DOES AN UPDATE!!!

** I have my steam games installed on another drive so my folder path is different.   D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\RoadCraft\root\paks\client\default
You can also go to your steam library and right click on RoadCraft- Properties- Installed files- Browse and it will show you where the game is installed.
