This mod enhances several aspect of the particles and FX effects.
Release v.1.2:
* Reworked exhaust from all vehicles. (Linger in air)
* Particles from wheel kick up has been increased and last longer on the ground.
* Destroying asphalt has longer duration.
* Destroying different objects around the world will last longer.
* Wheels tracks has been increased and last much longer.
* Wheel tracks is slightly deeper.
* Bushes, plants, leaves will last longer (work in progress...)
* Smoke from freshly paved roads will last longer and linger in the air.
Update v.2.1:
* Increased Bush branches lifetime on all bushes.
* Increased amount of debris from all trees and bushes.
This mod is a work in progress.

Side Note:
This game is not like the mudrunner series, it's a new engine and how particles work is very different how the previous games worked.
This is why the game is seriously lacking on the effects department from their successors, that's what this mod is trying to correct.
If the devs won't do it... i will.
HOW TO INSTALL:
Step 1: Download the mod and extract the "default.other.pak" somewhere.
Step 2: Navigate to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RoadCraft\root\paks\client\default
Step 3: Backup the "default.other.pak" and "default.other.pak.cache".
Step 4: After backing the originals up somewhere safe, you can delete both "default.other.pak" and "default.other.pak.cache".
Step 5: Place the modded version of the pak into the folder, and play!
OPTIONAL: Loose Files install:
If you have already an altered pakfile, and you want to apply the changes yourself.
Step 1: Replace the "sfx" "terraforming" in ssl with the folders from the mod.
Step 2: Go into ssl -> "game" - "truck" and replace the "wheel_trail.cls" file in there.
Done.
If you wish to unstall? Remove the modded version of the pak, and restore the backup you made.
