A NEW WAY TO EXPERIENCE RISE OF THE TOMB RAIDER
This is a ReShade setting I created that improves many aspects of the game, such as shadows, colors, lighting, contrast, brightness, and vegetation quality (especially in Jacob's camp). The game is much more beautiful than ever! This is my first ReShade, I did it very carefully to deliver the best result without compromising the experience in any part of the game.
Some problems with items made of gold can be observed, but nothing too serious, the game itself is beautiful and enjoyable to play.
I will make another version of my ReShade focused on the game's shadows.
INSTALLATION:
- Download the ZIP file that I made available, it contains the "ReShade setup" and my ReShade configuration;
- Install ReShade in the game Rise of the Tomb Raider (install all plugins), if you don't know how to install it, look for a tutorial, installation is very simple;
- Place the "NEO Rise of the Tomb Raider V1" file in the root folder of your game, in my case Steam: A:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Rise of the Tomb Raider;
If your game has a black screen, don't worry, there is a simple solution:
- Press the "Home" key on the keyboard to appear the ReShade screen;
- look in the "edit global preprocessor definitions" tab for the "PD80_01B_RT_Correct_Color.fx" effect;
- Disable the "Freeze Correction" box and enable it again.
