Having an issue getting other presets to appear. For some reason i can only get the warm preset to appear. Even when deleting every preset ini besides pure i only see warm available. Have i done something wrong or am i missing an important step on installation
Don't know bro, never had any issues with any reshade for all games that I'm using. Delete everything - reshade-shaders(the folder), dxgi.dll, dxgi.txt, ReShade.ini and all other preset files then install again Reshade 4.5.4 with all effects then extract main presets from the archive and try again.
Yeah im at a loss lol. Ive reinstalled it about three times now and still only get warm preset to work. After playing with it for a bit now though im not even worried about it. Wanted Pure but warm is just as beautiful so ill just stick with what works. Great work on the warm preset btw. Loving it so far.
Edit: Found my problem. Reshade.ini you provide has the path for the preset set to warm for the 20th celebration version. My steam just has it as Rise of the Tomb Raider. After switching the path to the correct name and removing warm from the path I now can access and use all your presets. Turns out I was just saying the game was beautiful. Now that your presets have loaded it looks even better. Lol
Looks like i changed it from CurrentPresetPath=D:\Games\Rise of the Tomb Raider - 20 Years Celebration\UHGWarm.ini to CurrentPresetPath=G:\Steam\steamapps\common\Rise of the Tomb Raider\UHGWarm.ini
Its been 2 years now since i fiddled with it so i cant give an explanation why i still have warm in there but after starting it up all the presets are working
How do you turn it off while in-game? I can switch between the presets but don't see a way to turn it off. I want to better see the difference and performance impact
I'm already using the Sweet SMAA from Reshade. Works great with this game! After installing your package can I activate it again, or do you also have some AA included?
What does this mod do exactly? Make the colours warmer and increase the contrast? That alone wouldn't cost FPS right? Do you use super resolution to make it look sharper? And can I deactivate the warm colours independently? I find cold colours quite fitting for this cold environment.
I made all kinds of changes to the reshare files, both the requested version and the most current version in April 2020, and it doesn't start with the game.
If anything from the known solutions doesn't help you I don't know why the Reshade program don't start with the game bro. If you find what the problem is can you please share, your experience will be helpfull for others :)
Yeah, it happen with DOF and Bloom, but the presets doesn't use these shaders and it works. If you delete and reinstall the latest Reshade 4.5.3 and extract only the .ini files (UHGCool.ini, UHGWarm.ini, UHGOriginal.ini, UHGPure.ini) from my archive it will work without any errors.
