About this mod
Like many other Piranha Bytes games, Risen 2 is a flawed gem which needs some polishing. I've collected multiple modification and some balancing tweaks for gameplay and graphics performance to make the experience as good as possible.

Installation
- Draw distance increased vastly
- Item LOD distance increased
- Increased field of view (FOV)
- Torches gives shadows and more light
- Vegetation density increased in high level
- Quality of specular reflections changes for higher FPS
- Shadows "High" setting tweaked to be less FPS demanding (for lowend PCs)
Gameplay features
- Quest and gameplay fixes from unoff. patch
- Fixed English translation for muskets and shotguns
- Fixed weapon icons
- Pistols balanced to do less damage, but are faster to shoot
- Muskets balanced to do less damage and are slower to shoot
- Shotguns balanced do less damage and have shorter range
- Bullets are twice as expensive
- Increased high level armor cost
- NPCs party members are weaker
- Monsters power and Xp gain tweaked
Installation
- Extract to the Risen 2 folder (eg. c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Risen 2) and play.
- If you want performance boost, then lower shadows quality to High from Ultra.
