The default speed modifier for walking is 0.375.
This mod changes this single value to 1.35, resulting in something like a sprint.
You can now use your walk hotkey for sprinting.
Why not 2? 3? more?
Because the engine will do weird things past 2, like kicking you up a mile in the air if you sprint over a small rock or down a slope.
Why not at least more than 1.35?
There is a speed spell which adjusts your speed to 2. Adding a sprint doing just that would make that spell worthless.
You are free to dig up the modding tools on that german forum and alter the files yourself though.
Installation:
templates.P00 needs to end up in Risen/data/common
if you extract the contents of the archive to your game directory you should be fine.
