One of her attacks have the flies swarm on the area, but it will not show it it (it will look invisible in the game, but you still get damage).
So just be aware for those installing this. You can still hear the flies buzzing around so you can always just keep hiding on that small area.
And yeah, the FPS still drops during blood sucking animations or being too close to flies. So the flies are still rendering in the background, but it's not showing on the naked eye (not really sure if they can truly remove the actual flies damage since it is rendering as their attacks).
Capcom just needs to fix these issues as well as the small stuttering on the camera. They are already working on DLC, so please just fix this!!!
Yeah, I experienced too, I only played the demo, but people report that this problem was still seen in the final game, so it goes like this: People gave their feedback for the demo and they reported this issue. What did Capcom do? Nothing, they don't give a f*ck, console versions don't have any issues and also the final game its apparently more demanding and takes more vram too for no reason. RE Engine "optimized" my ass, also I assume it's dx12 causing all of these issues since this engine was always known to have some problems on dx12, all past RE Engine games ran smooth because they all were dx11. Capcom forced dx12 on us this game and seems they f*cked the game a bit too in the process.
I was about to mention this. Does installing this mod no longer have your FPS drop so much? I'm playing the full main game and whenever one of the daughters does the blood sucking animations on you. The game dips so much due to the so many flies being near you.
Really immersion breaking when you have high FPS (100-110FPS) then dips to around 50FPS once the animation starts.
With mod installed, FPS still tanks. I think this mod just hides the flies' textures but they're still being rendered. Maybe perceived performance increase by people here is just purely placebo
@megaboyx90 it's for sure a placebo or people assuming as FPS still tanks with this mod running. At least for myself and several friends. A bit annoying if it's true that CAPCOM was aware of these issues on PC and chose to do nothing.
Great mod in any case as it allows you to see the daughters much more clearly. Definitely worth using for one playthrough at the least.

the vampires have bats around them not the Flies
