    BEHIND KAIFECK
Midnight - The picture, at the darkest hour
    Midnight Event No.8

real horror, a real monster. Based on true events.
    Hinterkaifeck (behind kaifeck)

The Hinterkaifeck farm was the scene of an unsolved multiple murder.
On the night of 31 March to 1 April 1922,
all six inhabitants of the no longer existing property,
500 m southwest of the village Gröbern
in the present-day municipality of Waidhofen in Upper Bavaria,
    were brutally murdered.

The perpetrator is said to have stayed in the house unnoticed for days.

The dead were the farmer couple Andreas and Cäzilia Gruber
(64 and 72 years old respectively),
their widowed daughter Viktoria Gabriel (35 years old),
their children Cäzilia (7 years old) and Josef (2 years old)
and the maid Maria Baumgartner ( 45 years).

The unsolved six-fold murder is one of the best-known criminal cases in Germany
and still arouses great public interest today due to the extraordinary circumstances
of the crime. It is the basis of numerous journalistic and literary publications
as well as several feature films and documentaries

    02.:

I use RTX, HD resolution and some filters to make the game naturally dark
and less colorful. Believe me when I say it works and it feels really
    evil... Resident Evil.

    03.:

My personal Resident Evil top ten:
    1 - RE 2
    2 - RE 1
3 - RE 2 Remake (My absolute recommendation!!!)
    4 - RE 7
    5 - RE 4
    6 - RE 4 Remake
    7 - RE 8
    8 - RE 3 Remake
    9 - RH 3
    10 - RE Survivor 1
    11 - ...

The story is really dark, but the still life is excellent, however, as always.

I love old school non-real horror. I adore Dario Argento, John Carpenter & Co. these are the best.

Love(d) those classic supernatural Hammer Horror films. I yearned to live in one of those old castles, no matter how uneasy the mood became! Modern realistic horror movies ruined the genre for me, and I migrated to sci-fi horror, both old and new!

Gorgeous grim image; grisly tale. Well done, maestro.

Very nice set with a vintage look and an atmosphere of decay.
Looks quite realistic what fits to the true event behind.

Such a haunting atmosphere you've captured here. The washed out colors and bleak shadows really sell it
