REmade HQ Attract DemoVideos (REupscale Project & Retcon Pack Friendly)
I was never happy with the certain lack of polish that the HD Remaster received. From small things like these simple demo videos and poor quality colour filters that hamper the overall presentation, to larger things like badly upscaled backgrounds.
This mod replaces the erratic multi scene mashup of clips used in the default demos, with those of a slower pace, classic controls, and more 1996 -esque Resident Evil.
This is highly recommended to be used alongside REupscaleproject and RetconPack mods. Those two massively improve thegraphics and lore accuracy of the game. They were used when recording these demo videos.
Another mod used was the latest RE1 FusionFix, which allows the removal of the black crush colour filter that plagued this port, along with a few other quality of life improvements. Again, highly recommended.
INSTALLATION: Extract the archiveand copy the nativePC folder to your root directory of the game, overwriting files when prompted.(They work fine, but backup oforiginal files is always recommended)
NOTE: 4:3 aspect ratio ONLY. I donot use, or plan to mod widescreen pan & scan video files. And, unlike other videos within the game, the attract demos are restricted to a single file of a single aspect ratio. Default being wide.
