-Realistic rates of fire for every gun (shoot pistols as you can pull the trigger when fully upgraded, automatic guns shoot close to their real rate of fire)

This mod allows for more realistic rates of fire for almost every gun. New pistol animations accompany this change since the original animations look bad with fast rates of fire. The mod also has new hold/aiming animations that are more steady and also reduces crosshair/camera sway. In addition, the crosshair is more aligned based on the distance to target.

Weapons can still be leveled up and pistols can shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger if they are max level. There is still loop shooting (holding the trigger) but it is slow and stays unchanged. This is the closest solution I could find to having true semi-auto.

ROF values can be fine-tuned using other mods that adjust fire rate.

I also added a small fix to make the CQBR shells spin when ejected. I guess the devs forgot to do this.

This mod overcomes the hard fire rate limits set in the data within the animation files. It took close to three months to make all the edits,
locate the parameters, and learn 3ds Max. I hope you guys enjoy it :)

I might do a version that has no animation edits if people don't like the new animations. I will also try to improve the animations even more over time.

Installation:

  • To install, place zip file into "mods" folder using Fluffy's Mod manager.

Compatibility:
  • Should be compatible with most mods that do not modify the weapon animations and weapon stats. The mod will still work if combined with mods that change weapon stats but the automatic fire rates and camera shake will be affected. If using with John Wick Mode mod, install RROF&SteadierAim AFTER for compatibility.
  • New values had to be set in the weapon catalog files for the automatic weapons. These files also contain the changes for the camera shake. If these files get overwritten by another mod, these features will break.
  • If using DWP(Dynamic Weapon Profiles mod), be sure to use the included DWP profile "ROFMODDefault".

    1.Locate menu titled "DWP Profile Editing"
    2. In the "Folder Name" text box type ROFMODDefault
    3. Select Add Profile
    4. Locate the menu titled "Dynamic Weapon Profiles"
    5. Select ROFMODDefault from the "Weapon Profile" dropdown menu.

  • If you run into issues creating a profile in DWP or just want to edit the
    files yourself for conflicting mods, these are the new rapidFire (Rate
    of fire) base values needed for the automatic weapons:


      • TMP: 2.5
      • LE5: 2.8
      • CQBR: 3.1
      • Chicago Sweeper: 3.5

    *Without these new base values, they will shoot too fast*
