I just wanted to provide a quick update. While I haven't been able to reach a computer at all this weekend I'm aware that the servers have been slower than usual over the past few days.
The root cause of this issue is a database cluster node that got knocked out Saturday afternoon, meaning we've been running on 4 nodes instead of the usual 5. On top of that we're currently seeing higher than usual traffic, about 22% more than a usual Sunday, so not only are we running at 20% less power capacity but we're also serving 22% more users. I'm not entirely sure what the traffic bump is attributed to but it could perhaps just be an influx in people replaying Fallout 3 and New Vegas in response to the announcement of Fallout 4 last week.
We're overdue an update news post on the recent changes we've made to both the site and one of the largest updates to NMM we've ever done, due to my extremely limited time at the moment, but that will come as soon as possible.
Lastly, we're still aware of the slowness on the forum side and we're still working on transitioning the forums over to a new server system that should resolve this issue.
I can't login to the main site, only the forums. Pressing login just refreshes the page, and trying the login prompt , pressing the green login does nothing.
I've cleared cookies and restarted my browser to no avail.
I keep being kicked off the website and the forum lately - or disconnected, sometimes for several hours, which very seldom happened to me yet (Europe, France) despite the servers' problems lately. I was wondering if it was my login or the servers - I guess ot must come from the servers, right?
Have noticed the site being a bit slow which hasn't been much of a problem for me thankfully. What i have noticed is when i go to nexusmods.com, i will occasionally get an error screen showing three modules indicating my computer, the servers location and the server itself showing the server is down. I imagine this is due to the slowness. The website becomes accessible usually within a couple to a few minutes
I've been seeing the same thing off and on since the weekend. Happened again this morning. Over the weekend it was much longer than a few minutes, but this morning's issue seemed to be under an hour.

For the amount of content you have and the service you provide for so many and have done for so long I would think that a little occasional slowdown would be inevitable and for the users it is a small price to have a little patience on these rare times.
on times of overload we could make note of the next mod we want to download and come back again.
you don't deserve complaints you deserve thanks for working so hard.

:EDIT:
Fixed now.

Sharing accounts is bad, mmkay.
There is nothing wrong with the sites for at least a week.
