don't want to sound rude, but putting "uhd" in the title when your mod isn't even compatible with Ultimate HD (UHD) edition seems a little bait-ey, don't you think?
and no, "HD Project" is not "UHD," they're entirely separate.
Hello amigo I can try to help you troubleshoot this issue, you can start looking into this.
1.Your game is from steam or cracked? you are running bio4.exe on version 1.1.0 or 1.0.6? (you can check it in the title screen) 2.Which version of HDProject did you install? it was a repack? 3.You have installed any other mods in your re4 installation? 4.Which variation of this mod you are trying to apply?
PORRAMODS I want to use your mod, but I also have REalistic Weapon Names Mod 4 installed which also uses core.udas file. Can you tell me how to make these 2 mods work?
Hello amigo, to make both mods work, you will have to decompile both "core.udas" file, then copy the "core_01.eff" from the item drop "core.udas", and paste it inside the weapon name "core.udas", then compile the edited file.

I don't have any modding knowledgement in RE5, I assume it has quite a different tex/model structure from re4, and I don't play it too much, so for now, no plans for a RE5 ver.
This mod is meant to be used with HDProject 1.1+, It appears that you have a vanilla UHD RE4, it does not work without HDProject, since this mod was made with it as a base. You can get it here
If you want to install in an easy way go to DODI Repacks. I've playing RE4 v1.0.6 cracked + HD Project v1.1 (with Bonus) + tweaks v1.9.1 and I can say it's awesome.
There is a easier way to use both mods at the same time now.
1. Install Item Drop Aura Variations UHD and overwrite files. 2. Install/Update RE4Tweaks 1.9+, then check Smaller HUD option under "Display" tab, It basically does the same thing as the SMALLER, SIMPLIFIED HUD from HDProject bonus
