About this mod

Hi! Back with a new mod.

This gives Jill a new hairstyle as well as bringing subtle changes to her face for a softer look.

PRE-ANNOUNCMENT:
As you know, the June 2022 updates made all mods practically incompatible. Just know that I will be taking some time to update my mods as much as I can. It will take some time so please bear with me. For the meantime, you can still use my mods by using the downgrade option Capcom has so generously provided. I do not have an ETA because I'm currently working on a personal, non-mod related project of mine that I'm passionate about so I will have to devote some time to modding in the future. I hope you understand and thank you for your patience. Be good, folks!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Please, follow carefully to ensure installation:
- Download mod from Nexus, of course.
- Once downloaded, please OPEN the rar file. You can't just put the rar file in your "Mods" folder as it wouldn't work. It's just the way my mods are made.
- After opening the rar file, select the folder inside and extract it to your "Mods" folder. THEN it will work.
- To make sure it was extracted correctly, the name of the folder in your "Mods" folder would be the name of the mod. Its contents should consist of TWO things: the "natives" folder and the screenshot of the mod.
- Install on Fluffy's Mod Manager. If done correctly, then the hair and/or face will show up, depending on which you downloaded.
- If you want to use the hair recolors, follow the same instructions as above but install those AFTER installing the base hair. The hair colors will not work if you install them first unless you want those colors on the default hair only. You do you.
- Enjoy!

THE MODS:

Jill's New Look: Hairstyle

- the hairstyle is known as Natasha, named after Black Widow. More detail in background.
- default color is brunette since it's Jill's natural color but I made sure to include three more hair colors as blonde, black, and auburn for variety.

Jill's New Look: Face

- I made slight adjustments to Jill's face for softer features. More detail in background.
- I highly recommend to use the "no dirt" mod because the dirt drowns out the lovely details and retexture I made for Jill's face. But if that's too un-immersive, that's okay, just don't come complaining that you can't see her makeup because she's covered up in dirt lol

Jill's New Shirt Color

- for anyone who's interested in the light blue recolor in the screenshots.
- originally just made this for myself since I wasn't a fan of the default color, looked a bit dull and lifeless.
- had this packaged with my default variations but, like my makeup retex for Jill, tossed it along here, too.
- recolors Jill's shirt into a more vibrant, lively blue reminiscent of her classic color. simple retex but I really like the improvement.

BACKGROUND:

Hi, everyone! Long time no see!

Took a short break from modding to work on my book. Now took a short break from writing my novel to work on mods again lol issa cycle, friends.

I want to share a brand new mod I made. I was growing unhappy with the "Long Hair" mod I made months ago for Jill (yay, it reached over 18k downloads) and wanted something new for her. I was looking at various hairstyles to see what could suit Jill and landed on this hairstyle. Yes, keen eyes would recognize that it is indeed Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff's hairstyle from Marvel's Avengers (I thought no one would notice since nobody played that game lmao just kidding XD). Also hence the name "Natasha" for the hair.

I thought Natasha's hair would look great for Jill. Granted I was actually looking for a bob cut similar to Sienna Guillory's from the live-action movie (Resident Evil: Apocalypse) but this one looks good, too. I might get that bob cut someday! But for now, I am loving this hair. The default hair is currently

I also edited Jill's face. Don't get me wrong, Sasha Zotova is absolutely gorgeous as all hell. She's really beautiful and I was mesmerized since I first laid eyes on her. And though I've been vocal about how I feel (Julia Voth is still my Jill Valentine), I still thought Jill looked great in this game. I would say that Jill is the best face scan between both remakes (I've also been vocal about how I dislike Claire's face scan in RE2R and even made a mod editing her face). But of course I couldn't resist and ended up giving Jill's face a few of my own adjustments.

Initially, I only wanted to "fix" her nose. Nothing's wrong with Sasha's nose irl but it looks the face scan received modifications as well. I thought the same about RE2R Claire. Jordan McEwen is incredibly beautiful irl but to me, it looks like they either botched the face scan or purposely edited Claire's face to look the way it does (hence why I made a mod for it in the first place and imo I think I made Claire look closer to how Jordan looks irl). So with Jill, I softened up the bridge so it looks less "hooked" and made her nose less pointy. I went a step further and made her jawline a little more narrow. IMO I think I made Jill look more like Sasha now, and even more of a cross between Milla Jovovich and Ruby Rose.

I also applied the custom face texture I made for Jill as well as light blue eyes to give Jill that strong, electric blue eye look which I think is really pretty.

All in all, I just wanted to make Jill look the way I'd like her to. Not that this is me saying I never liked her look in the first place, I just wanted to provide my own vision of her. Of course, it's just my personal feelings and my mod, so feel free to agree or disagree with me. It's totally up to you if you want to play this mod.

I made sure to separate the face and hair mods so you can just pick and choose what you want. If you want the hair but default face, just get the hair. If you only want the modded face, get that one. If you want both, GET BOTH! lol

Anyway, without further ado; please, enjoy!!! :D
