Taskmaster

A B-tier Marvel villain who frequently fights the Avengers, Captain America, Spider-Man, Deadpool and others.

He has a simple ability: Photographic Reflexes, which allows him to copy any physical movement he sees in seconds. He has used this talent to collect combat skills and superhuman move sets throughout his career.

The character model itself came from the game Marvel Contest of Champions, as such I take no credit for the quality of the model. What I did was re-rig this character for it to work with Resident Evil 2's standard skeleton. I also put work into properly integrating his textures to work with the game's shaders.

To install:

1) your game MUST have the Arklay Sherrif Costume DLC.

2) you will need to download Fluffyquack's mod manager (The tool is updated regularly)

3) simply place my mod rar file into the Modmanager's Games\RE2R\Mods folder

4) using the mod manager, before running the game, go to manage mods and install Taskmaster

Note: Mod installation and uninstallation can only be done while the game is off.

IMPORTANT: !!!!!

MOD Limitations / Issues:

- this mod replaces the Sheriff Costume, therefore please uninstall other mods that need to work with the sheriff costume before installing this mod.

- this mod WILL make the default leon head invisible, as it is necessary to hide his head so as not to overlap with Taskmaster's head. If you change back to any other costume while Taskmaster is installed, you will be playing with Leon having no head and his hair floating in the air. lol. Simply uninstall the mod if you intend to play as leon again.

- some minor normal and specular mapping issues are present, but they are small and dont necessarily take away from the experience. It is something i may clean up in the future.

- the original Taskmaster model was large and had different proportions from the character models used in the game. I did what i could to scale down the arms, but there is no way i could cheat the finger sizes without making his hands look like raisins. For this reason, there are some minor issues with the fingers, but you wont see them unless you really try to look for them.


Extra stuff:

- Using the Trainer in the mod manager's menu will allow you to swap characters from any mode openly. If you want to use Taskamster in any of the extra modes, simply swap out the character you want to replace via the trainer's functions with LEON (after installing the taskmaster mod of course)

BUGS:

- I found a bug in the 4th Survivor / Tofu mini game / and the "No time to mourn" scenario. If you are using Taskmaster in any of these modes, in the underground room's control room (where you run into William Birkin for the first time) - YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PASS THRU THE DOOR. AND it will stop the game, not freeze it, but you will be STUCK IN LIMBO. I don't know why this is the case, but it is a bug i can look into in the future.

This happens only in THOSE scenarios because the LOCATION is in the character's paths. All other scenarios, and story based games are working fine.
