Greetings.

Technically speaking, this mod already exists in some way here.
However, i was never satisified by the fact, that model uses a different texture between menu and gameplay or that all available modifications were unavailable by default.

So, lets make another one and this time, use a complete "new"* model.
(*it still is ported from RE3, but sssshhhh.....)

It comes with the following features:
- fully functional firearm
- inlcudes all modifications
- seperated texture from the main game for additional modification

What's missing:
- no custom inventory icon
- no custom name

known issues:
- the extended magazine model may have a f#@ked up texture, when not attached to the gun

Side effect:
Marvin now has a Beretta too, during one of his Leon cutscenes.
I don't see it as a bug, but somebody might be upset, that a regular Officer now has a S.T.A.R.S weapon.
(I seriously need a Black variant without the markings)

I have included an optional file, if you don't want the laser module but the extended magazine.
You'll get the regular crosshair instead. It requires a new game, if activated.

Update 08/25/20
I have included 2 optional files with edited textures.
With many thanks to Snipzu for doing the work, the weapon now comes with a blank slide and without any S.T.A.R.S insignia, giving it more of a "standard RPD issued firearm" vibe.
