Oblivion 5th anniversary edition coming July 12th with (some) DLC, collectibles, and $10 Skyrim coupon
Update: GStaff confirmed that the other DLC are indeed not included.
The anniversary edition comes in a "beautiful collectible metal case masterfully embossed with Daedric symbols." You'll also get the making of Oblivion behind-the-scenes documentary, a full-color map of Cyrodiil and the Shivering Isles, and a $10 coupon for "Skyrim and a Skyrim Strategy Guide." The wording there is a bit vague. Can the coupon only be used on a package of the game and guide, or can it be used on either product individually? Hopefully Bethesda will clarify that part.
The 5th Anniversary Edition will cost $30 (really $20, with the coupon). The Oblivion GotY Deluxe package which includes all nine DLC is only $25, though.

So my question is, what are the recommended Mods for a Monk Class? There are quite a few Hand to Hand mods, but which one/s are the best for a balanced game play experience? I'm not looking for something that is going to make the Monk godlike, I just want something that will make it a Class that can stand on it's own with the other classes.
I downloaded a Monk weapon Mod which sounds awesome, but they don't appear to work. I extracted the archive into the directory as the instructions said, but nothing changed. Is there a special program required for this edition?
Thank you in advance for any help you guys can provide.
Never mind figured it out. Thanks anyway.
Yes, mods work just fine. It'd be fanbase suicide to sell a version that doesn't work with mods.
Cough, Direct2Drive.
And i can see the value in this,
its not meant for fans.
its meant for the people who saw how badass a massively open ended game this series in and they dont have the patients to wait for Skyrim.
i am getting this but if these mods wont work its kind of a deal breaker so anyone know?
I doubt it's limited to just the PC. I believe the discount will go for all three platforms.
I already own a version for the Xbox 360, and I want to do some modding
But I am concerned in the 10 dollars off deal. if we buy it for PC, can we use it only for a PC version of Skyrim? because I hope not.
Reasoning.
It doesn't include all the DLCs.
I already have 2 personal copies. Original & GOTY
A map isn't all that special. I already have two(and they don't cover mods).
And of all the other copies I have bought for others as gifts, none of them even included a septim.(I think Beth ought to personally ship me one of these for all of my support! After all, its done been paid for if you count the beans)
A metal case. woowho. is it waterproof stainless?
New buyers should go for the deluxe.
The longevity of a coin(real metal) is a lot better marketing strategy than a paper map tho it would cost a little bit more to produce. Paper is cheap, I know, because I print it, tho ink isn't(and the labor). People collect coins. People also collect maps(cartographers). Now what will last the test of time, a coin or a map?. The case will eventually end up in a junk yard somewhere for scrap metal.
Its not that the DLC is expensive, a few dollars each, but it would make it all the better for $30... The map already comes with everyone of them (look behind the guide that tells you how to move and stuff, its right there!)
They should give us the septim with it too
On a side note, thank you very much Galahaut and yoba333. You guys are really staying on top of the Skyrim news
And on the other end of the spectrum, the hardcore fan who might potentially re-buy Oblivion isn't really being offered much incentive to buy this package. There's a fancy new case...and that's about it. The documentary and map are decent but nothing special, and a $10 is obviously not worth $30.
