I created a Stylized Comic Rashade present for Remnant II to boost contrast/saturation and smooth out the textures as I find them quite grainy especially when DLSS/Resolution Scaling is enabled.
MANUAL PERFORMANCE OPTIONS: "Because we all like options!"
Default: 10 FPS performance hit - Full Comic Effects and tone shaders
Light: 5 FPS performance hit - Disable "Oilify" to reduce performance impact but still keep Comic Effect and tone shaders
1. Download "Remnant II - Comic Reshade" preset from nexusmods and extract to directory of choice
Note: I personally create a separate folder for all my reshade instrall files and game presents. Choice is yours!
2. Download and begin the install of Reshade 5.8.0 from Home (reshade.me)
3. Select "Remnant2-Win64-Shipping.exe" from the game selection menu
4. Select "DirectX 10/11/12" for the rendering API
5. From the Preset menu, select "Browse" and navigate to the folder where you downloaded/extracted the "Remnant II - Comic Reshade" Preset.ini to earlier.
6. Reshade will scan the profile file and prepopulate the shaders required (Standard Effects & SweetFX by CeeJay.dk)
7. Select Next and Finish to complete installation.
8. Play the game!
