About this mod

This mod adds controller button prompts for the game. This mod includes PS3, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 button prompts.

Permissions and credits
This mod replaces certain keys with the default controller button prompts. This mod includes PS3, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 button prompts.

Installation:
Unzip the mod (preferably with 7zip), and choose from one the following folders within the "Controller Type" folder:
  • PS3
  • PS4 -w Share button
  • PS4 -w Touchpad button
  • Xbox 360
  • Xbox One
For this example, we'll use the "Xbox One" folder. Inside that folder, copy the "Relayer_Data" folder into your game directory. The same steps apply for using the other folders.

How to Uninstall:
Inside the "Original" folder, copy the "Relayer_Data" folder into your game directory. The file inside this folder uses the original sprite sheet for the keyboard controls.

Note: This mod was originally designed for the "X" Initial button layout with the confirm button set to "Down" (X for PS, A for Xbox). Using other button layouts may have unintended results. Also note that controls for the tutorial have not been updated to use the new button prompts. In this case prompts for the "Q" key correspond to LB and L1, while the "E"  key correspond to RB and R1.

If you wish to customize your gamepad controls while using this mod, check out the Relayer Action Mapper, and after starting the program and loading the KeyConfig.json file, do the following:
click "Edit Controls" -> click "Edit for Controllers Only"
Then make any changes to the controls for your gamepad and save your controls.

This mod was made by altering the sprite sheet of the keys in the "sharedassets0.assets" file. PlayStation button prompts are mostly based off of existing assets used for the PS4 version of the game. Xbox controller prompts were mostly made from scratch with the exceptions of the Right Analog stick, Left Analog stick, and bumper buttons.
