There is a bug with DISABLE_REGENERATION=1 for horse. When you feed him with stamina food and his core's empty, it not replenish. Strange because it works with Arthur with the same setting.
Also please could add icon position settings for extended radar option?
I have a doubts that mod doesnt work during Missions with disabled "enable in missions" parameter of ini. Ill test more later, but my horse n my character suffer from hardcore stamina during 1st missions at prologue of game as i see. I rechecked the parameter of ini twice for sure.
there is a bug in this mod that when rowing in the sea with any type of boat, stamina does not go down, when I remove the mod, it goes down normally, kind of weird...
I'll tell it like it is, and I hope you'll understand. I really like the "Walk Speed Control and Auto-Walk" mod, but the problem with this mod is that running doesn't use up your stamina. In combination with your mod everything works, and stamina is spent as it should ... but... Because of the movement limitation, the character's speed keeps catching bugs all the time. It would be very cool if there would be a version of your mod with realistic consumption of stamina, but without limitation in movement when the core is empty.
Ive tested default values again on my current horse (wild Arabian) and on some prev (esp on some race horse with lowest stam atm) and it seem or i was doing wrong by riding before or thx to update, i feel the mod much better even on default values. Ty alfabravozapa again man.
Tbh the mod seems too hard for me. Im not so hardcore player, endorsed ofc though. Ye i can edit parameters by my taste i think but i dont really change ini usually - trying to play with default values most of times for most of mods (including your ones too). My question is it possible to make separate version only for added cores of wagons horses? i like such things which adds more things in vanila where we hadnt such thing n driving wagons are really breaks immersive - horses can run without breaks etc. We have usual horses cores but not wagons horses. If not its ok, ty for your work man, i like it anyway.

I naturally like this mod, as I always feel Arthur and his horse have unlimited Stamina. It definitely needs more Stamina Overhauls like this one. Was able to change a couple of things and now using and producing Bitters actually is a thing, as it should be. But I was sitting here all night at the game, trying to figure out why my horses stamina gets so quickly overloaded. No matter what I put into the Ini File when it comes to my horse, it always charges the same amount at the same speed.
Like for instance, the fastest speed on flat terrain looks like this by default:
SPRINTING_FLAT_TERRAIN=2000
BUt no matter what number I type in, it always drains stamina at the same speed. And its a bit too much in my opininon. Player stamina works fine, dont know about NPC HUman and horses, or vehicles. But my horse always drains a lot of stamina and it seems like I just cant change it. Only thing about the horse that works is recovery time. Any ideas?
GunSlingingNightWolf, Share your horse drain parameters after u will get tests pls. Cuz default ones are same too overloading for me, but im not sure which numbers will be close to more viable for gaming.
Ye i understand tht everything is subjective. Tbh i can play with default ones too, but i play by using gamepad and keeping one speed on horse is not so easy, esp if it drains stamina so strong. Ye i know about mod which allow to keep same speed on gamepad same as on keyboard but i really like vanilla mechanics of it.

Or i need to grind herbs for craft bitters more often = more bitters per day etc. Not sure.. perhaps i missed something (missed how to play on default values, perhaps i use wrong horse.. i use usually Shire or Ardennes most of time).

Hey there, I know that its actually more fun to play on gamepad when it comes to riding, or also just walking/running as Arthur, because you have more control over the speed and you actually have to repeadtly type the button, instead of just holding it on keyboard. But holding it actually drains a bit faster, but also moves the character/horse faster, as of what I found out.
Im using the Complete Horseoverhaul Mod with a absolute Elite War horse having 9/10 Speed and Acceleration, but I also dont have the best saddle and stirrup. But quite powerful after all. NOt sure how many points Saddles give, but I think they are only for Core Drains and Regeneration, not Speed or Acc. Poiints. I can probably ride with it for around 3 minutes, before it exhausts with full Stamina Circle and core. Here are the values im using right now:

RUNNING_NO_ROAD_DRAIN=50 #Additional stamina drain when not running on the road.

For AI Horses, I have 25% more drain then for my horse, so like "RUNNING FLAT TERRAIN 625". And Coach Horses/Mules 700 when on flat terrain. All may change a bit over time.
Emptying a horses stamina core will cause it to never recover, I can restore it before then and the stamina ring eventually restores, but walk speed is still limited. Not sure if this was intentional or not but I'd like to be able to remove it either way.
Happens to me as Arthur with the horse I own, not sure if it happens as John as well, but I was getting shot at because of mods I have to spawn roaming bandits and it made me fall off when I got hit at like half empty stamina core. Again no clue if its intentional or not butI'd at least like to be able to tweak when, or at what random interval it will happen.
Stamina not recovering when the core is empty is intentional, but I can make that optional, yes. The speed limit not lifting is a bug. Not sure how to reproduce falling off a horse though, I only made the player fall when stamina core is empty and the player is jumping.
