I'm glad some of you have had success with this guide. I'm, sorry some of you aren't. However, this guide was, specifically, made for me and my machine:
AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D 16-Core
64.0 GB RAM
NVidia GeForce RTX 4090, 24 GB
So it is very possible that it will not work on every machine.
I just downloaded RDR2 a few days ago (so it's a fresh install) and installed all mods according to instructions. But LML does not recognize RDR2 when i run it. The game folder is set and all "LML-mods" show up. But if i run the game via steam LML shows "waiting for game".
Hi all. Did anone tried the modlist? I wanted to use the definitive edition first, but it did not receive any update, plus the 1899 firearms seemed a bit buggy. And want to give this one a shot. I'll try it for sure as it definitely seems comprehensive enough, but I would much appreciate it if anyone could share his/her experience with it.
"Before mods can be applied to **Red Dead Redemption 2**, there are several tools that need to be installed and configured"
Dude is going to scare away a lot of people. It's not that hard to get mods into your game. Dragging and dropping files into the RDR2 directory. This guy comes along like SEVERAL TOOLS, firstly that's a lie, they aren't "tools". I think I'll make a guide of my own, some people over complicate s#*! and scare people away.
He's basically going to show you how to set up Lenny's Mod Loader lol.
thanks for this, if you are new to modding this game it's not really ever explained too much other than lml required you need this or that etc For instance do I leave AB's stuff in there after putting in other stuff or delete it? Soo am I supposed to delete dinput8.dll now that I have version.dll in there or can I leave it in?
will scripthookdotnet conflict with the other script hooks and do they need to be deleted or are they ok staying in there? Way too bad there wasn't more unified use of everything to make this easier, half the mods I have installed don't work or play nice together because the same visualsettings etc etc file names constantly overwrite each other or are blocked due to load priority etc
RS isn't mod friendly in this game obviously, understandable for online stuff but for offline sp? nah.

Tried running LML as admin and without.
Any idea how to fix this?
