It is adorned with a modified version of his father's Union army jacket from the Civil War, as well as his ranching hat from the early days of the American West. As for the gun belt, Dutch's unusual choice of a third pistol originates from his own makeshift, unorthodox quickdraw philosophy inspired by one of his greatest heros, Edward "Blackbeard" Thatch.
