I haven't played that many story-driven games, so I didn't expect a game to be like this. As you know, I mostly prefer to play sandbox RPGs. I thought the final moments of Cyberpunk were heavy, but nope, RDR2 is on a whole other level of story and development. I could feel the emotion in the acting in an unprecedented way. I won't list examples so as to not spoil it for anyone reading this. Most characters in the game feel alive, and Arthur is definitely the most human character I've seen in a video game.
I remember rowing boats was easy in the game though. Did you activate the setting that changes tapping buttons to holding them?
Wonderful shots of RDR2, Vermi!
I was like "Y E S!" when I saw that skip button for the first time
Once I finished the epilogue, I couldn't get myself to relaunch the game. Not even RDO. To be completely frank, the game contains way more emotions than I'm comfortable feeling from a video game :p It was just too good.
Thank you, Pat ^^
No, that handcar sequence is impossible. The game was made for consoles obviously and the motions needed to move the damn thing don't work on PC.
And, wow, I am glad I'm not the only one who struggled with operating that thing. I tried about 5 times, and no matter how perfectly I timed it, it refused to go faster than a snail's pace. That segment pulled me out of the game. They should've just made it a cutscene for PC.
I doubt I'll touch it again though, but I easily got approx. 900 fantastic hours out of it.
I was fine with the trolley part myself.
Amazing work Yahya :)
Yeah, with how much more R* cares about GTA, it'll be at least another 10 years. That trolley segment had me in tears from "angry laughter" lol.
I was overall satisfied with the ending, but it was bittersweet for sure.
And the beauty of nature is magnificent.. Masterfully!
Thank you, Pavel!
