Only works on Windows. This is a permanent solution to disabling Core 0 for RDR.exe, if you don't want to keep having to turn off Core 0 every time the game is launched. I did state potential stuttering issues. this may not fix anything on some CPU's. I only recommend installing this mod if you are stuttering badly
Installation: Drag "dinput8.dll" and "affinity.toml" into the Red Dead Redemption install folder (Where RDR.exe is located) This mod will overwrite any other dinput8.dll file, so if you have any other mod using that file it will be replaced. don't know any way around that
This mod disables Core 0 for RDR.exe on Startup. Disabling Core 0 seems to fix stuttering issues I mainly tested this mod on a Low End PC. With Medium Settings, 900p, FXAA and i get a locked 45fps with RTSS (Rivatuner) and no stuttering when using this mod
Performance Tip: If you are using the Fast Launch, No Intro or Fusion Mod, i recommend removing it. either by verifying the game files or replacing it with the "Remove Double Eleven intro Logo" mod instead Those mods seem to get rid of the Shader Precompilation step this game does on startup, which results in major stutters throughout the game Precompiled Shaders are located in AppData/Roaming/Red Dead Redemption/cache
