I upscaled a lot of stuff from mapres.rpf, except all the terrain textures and stuff cuz theres already a mod for that. No npcs or animals and stuff were upscaled cuz they werent in mapres.rpf
all missing and wanted posters have been upscaled 2x a bunch of miscellaneous textures, including normals have been upscaled 2-4x a bunch of icons and achievements have been upscaled 2x blood splats have been upscaled 2-4x bullet holes/decals have been upscaled 2-4x head gore has been upscaled 2x the moon has been upscaled 2x
john and his normals have been upscaled 2x
pretty much a bunch of random shit man
nah but seriously, this is a mod to have as a base instead of the original file, shouldn't give any performance hit/very minimal, plus you can install other mods onto it (such as john upscales)
I'm currently making a mod that upscales EVERYTHING (NPC's, Trees, Objects, ETC.) Stay Tuned for that :D
installation: make a backup of your mapres.rpf
move mapres.rpf from my mod into Red Dead Redemption\game
might work with other mods that edit mapres if it includes manually editing the file, i think. hypothetically
