There is no way around it, the AI cheats. They instashot trained SWAT operators like they are T-800 from the Terminator. This mod adjusts some parameters to create a balanced difficulty. It was tested on multiple maps and it is working.
The mod also increase a little SWAT HP to improve survivability and 1 more minute to bomb timers.

Permissions and credits
For this mod I changed the global and specific map parameters (yes for each one of them) so they don't get overruled by playing vanilla maps.

I decreased suspect accuracy around 30-40% depending on the map and slowed their reaction times by around half a second. Also tweaked the reaction times for when they get shot (were really inhuman) and when they hear sounds. Also tweaked the amount of body exposure they need to see to start firing (to minimize the starting of firing on a door before we even see the suspects). Also increased power to non lethal weapons so they can more easily stun enemies and tweaked enemy morale to be able to reach lower values (it was too high and most of the time prevented surrendering after they became enraged). It could seem the adjustment was a lot but it isn't, it's a product of iteration of a few attemps and made the game challeging but fair.

The changes reflect the difficulty of the enemies, when the suspects are military or police trained the accuracy values are better than kids or methheads that just got guns.

These changes mainly affect suspects at a "normal range", but if they are too close to the player they will be killing machines notheless due to the way they are programmed (they fire in a cone, so the closer a suspect is to a player the more chance bullets will hit the player, be carefull with positioning).

Because this tweaks the AI to be fair not just easy walk in the park, I also gave a little boost to SWAT HP to improve survivability of a possible headshot (we got helmets afterall and most of us doesn't like the motorcycle helmet...).

Also gave a little 1 or 2 minutes extra time to bombs in some scenarios to help small teams of multiplayer or singleplayers that can't cover as much ground as a full human SWAT team.


Mod was tested on a lot of maps and it's working with the 1.0 version of the game.


How to install:
- Download file.
- Extract file using Winrar, 7Zip or a similar program.
- Copy file and past it on your Paks folder in the game directory (example: "C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks")
