Hell Comes to the Hills is a custom map set in a Residential Home residing in Orange County. The map contains dynamic AI spawning, meaning that the number and location of suspects and civilians will be different in each game you play!

Briefing

5:34 PM: Neighbors have reported screams and gunshots coming from a residential house in Orange County. Witness descriptions mention multiple masked men were outside the premises acting suspicious, total number of suspects is unknown. Civilian hostages are expected, and suspects are assumed to be armed and dangerous.


Features

Dynamic AI Spawns
Each game will have varying number of suspects and civilians from a set pool and will spawn in different locations; each game should feel different each time you play it!

Realistic Lighting and Layout
A large focus has been given to the layout and asset placement to make it feel as close to a lived-in house. Special focus on the Façade and lighting on the map aims to make it feel as realistic as possible.

A large amount of Assets created by hand to make sure that the map feels fresh and original.

Highly Optimized and Professionally Developed
The map’s performance was carefully considered. Current playtester’s machines seem to have rather high and stable FPS (in comparison to Official
maps).

Optimization doesn’t stop at the visual performance - Player movement and collisions were also carefully crafted as to not disrupt yours or
the AI’s experience; AI still suffers from the usual behavior problems in official maps and we still have limited functionality in how they behave.

How to Install

Download and Extract pakchunk99-Map_Hell_Comes_to_the_Hills to your game’s pak directory. By default it is:
C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks

If you are downloading a new version of the map, you might also need to delete the map’s corresponding .sav data to rebuild the map data. This is located at:
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\ReadyOrNot\Saved\SaveGames
