Ela Turpentine is an old-nineteenth century industry built for the extraction of turpentine from the nearby wooded area. When it was originally built the track work was laid out by the distillery around their long gone 0-4-0T hauling out a single lightly loaded flatcar daily, so there are some tight curves, sharp switches, and decent grades. As the industry has grown, you have taken over the switching duties. Over the years the industry has grown from a simple still in a shed (which still exists and is used by the local populace when they just need a barrel or two) to a factory type operation with the recent installation of a couple of holding tanks and hoses to speed the loading of tank cars. For all the money the distillery has put into the buildings they still maintain the right of way and it's not in the greatest of shape. But the industry is growing and (at T5) has roughly 17 carloads a day of supplies coming in or turpentine heading out.
