Adds a massive double hump yard with 44 800m tracks at Governor's Island inside a loop.
Other than minor testing to see how far cars will travel off the humps and what locomotives could handle the yard switches, it is untested. The yard was made as a challenge of how much could I fit on the island and to test out curve generation in my modding utility. I also tried out using custom map masks to flatten the entire island.
I am putting this out here for anyone who wants to use or further modify it as I have no plans on using it or doing more with it at this point. The game engine DOES NOT like having over 25 miles of track in one area, nor can it handle the over 2000 cars it can hold right now.
The parallel curves and switch ladders turned out beautifully, and we were quite surprised that every locomotive we had could make it through the 80m radius, 24-degree curves including Berkshires and the DD-40X. A lot was learned and refined making the yard, but it will not be used further by me or supported by me.
