Changelogs
Version 1.1
Added diesel consumption; tweaks to GUI
Version 1.0
Initial release
The game has somewhat high rates of water/coal consumption to produce a proper challenge (see discussion e.g. here; physically demanding for the fireman to shovel around 200 lbs of coal every minute?). If you feel that the rates are too high to enjoy having many larger engines, or if you want a challenge and increase the rates even more, this mod might be for you.
It lets you reduce or increase the coal, water, and diesel consumption rates. You can disable consumption entirely them by dragging the option sliders in the CTRF+F10 menu to 0%, or choose a value between 0% and 200% (doubled rates). The setting is affecting all engines that consume these fuels equally. Note that for steam engines, Railroader bases the coal consumption calculation also on the water consumption rate, so that in order to keep the games intended ratio intact, you should choose equal values in both sliders.
