Captains log.
U.S.S Axolot.
Stardate unknown.

It has been days since our ferocious battle with the Borg, which saw the Axolot almost completely destroyed.

The Starboard Nacelle was obliterated and we avoided a warp core breach just seconds before we destroyed the Borg... but it was too late.

There was too much damage.

Life support was failing and I gave the order for all hands to abandon ship.

I managed to land on a planet with an ocean of liquid ethane and methane knowing all of my crew had successfully escaped,
but my mission now is to survive until rescue arrives.
In the mean time, I will have to scavenge whatever this planet can offer.
Preliminary scans showed multiple native life forms, both aquatic and atmospheric, and a few alien structures before main power went out.
Minimal maneuvering thrusters are still operating so I am not at the mercy of the ocean currents, but with no replicators or transporters,
I have set up temporary sections for food and water production, component production, and ziplines for movement around the ship.
Bridge functions are limited to basic maneuvering, structural integrity and scanning short distances for land sites.
Engineering is a mess.

Sick bay is functioning, which is the only good news I can think of, of course the Doctor is offline...

The days here are much quicker, and a strange moon orbits this planet quite quickly too.
I have started my own day counter and modified an old antique clock to compensate, but without a comparative reference, I'm not exactly sure how long it's been...

The thought of my crew floating aimlessly in escape pods this long is motivation enough for me to do the impossible... Attempt to rebuild the Warp Nacelle.

I believe there are materials here I can use to do the job, and while it has been many years since I studied Intrepid class warp design in detail,
I can use the existing Port Nacelle as a guide in order to complete this goal.

With so many problems to face right now, I only know one thing for sure... I WILL get my crew home.

Available Now on the Nexus!:

Captain the Starship Axolot when it needs you the most!

RPG element with a story that could change your whole perspective on the game!

Explore a new world, with new life forms to discover! (unless you've been here before:)

Repair the ship to its former glory with two working Nacelles and refit the interior to any level design you want! (Don't forget some Jefferies tubes!)

First things first. Emergency power packs will have to be delivered to various systems around the ship. Battery packs can be found and recharged in engineering.

Large build. I've removed basically every piece 'Non essential' unless 'Highly decorational' for a smoother game.

When destroying and placing pieces, especially floor pieces, there is a chance of a slight pause, or stutter, don't freak out. It's OK. The game is just recalculating the structure.

Oh, and when you succumb to the threats outside, you wake up in Sick Bay! (The gag didn't work in this build, destroy the blue roof bits over the Biobeds if you want to wake up in Sick Bay:)

Live long and Raft.
