While playing the game back when it came out I always felt that the all black power forms didn't match the box art, the black and red blur that surrounds Alex as he uses his powers or the concept of the glow in the sequel. I've noticed some mod authors replicate the more orange power set of the evolved Alex from the sequel. Those mods left me wanting something that displayed some sort of representation of that evolution between the 2 games. An original red black effect for the first game instead of just trying to copy the glow from 2. Makes sense to me at least. Also some of the mods I've seen just kind of throw patches of orange on the models that didn't make sense for the forms themselves. Rather than just suffer as my brain screamed at me while playing it again recently I just made a mod. Hope ya like it.
