Once you beat it does it help resist re-infection like real antibodies?

Hi. Not complaining. But It's not working for me. I'm on version 41.60. Everything is installed correctly. It shows up in the mod window correctly and I enable it but yeah no I died on first test. It's installed on user/zomboid/mods. Do you think it's my version#?
(EDIT) I figured it out. I needed to start a new game. Works as advertised  :)  Thank you.

Anyone else getting it where there surviving the zombie virus at a really high rate? I've been infected 7 times now 3 with prone to illness on my character and all 7 times I've managed to survive it. Infact looking thru the lua files I normally have alot of the traits that should make my chances of beating it low yet I'm normally beating it fairly quick

So I tried to install this, but it's not showing up in the mod menu.  Install section says "Zomboid/mods", I'm assuming you mean "steamapps/common/ProjectZomboid/mods"?  Or does this go somewhere else?  I've never manually installed a mod for this game, usually just stick to the Workshop but this isn't on it.

The location for steam is SystemDrive\Users\UserName\Zomboid

      So for example C:\Users\Sythalin\Zomboid

Put the mods folder from the zip file from the most recent version of Antibodies to that folder and it should show up.

I'd love to see a workshop version too, I'm sure it would do well there and I'd like to consolidate!

Thanks for the update, I love the concept of being able to beat zombification as long as you stay healthy during the sickness but I was getting instant zombification on reinfection after beating it once previously.

I think the newest upload may be packaged incorrectly, it doesn't have the "Antibodies" top level folder after the mods folder, just the mod contents.

    Thanks again, love the mod!

Thanks! I'm glad you like it.

I didn't catch this bug because when you infect yourself through debug tools this never happens for some reason. Anyway if you see this bug again please let me know.

Also, I have updated the packaging...I really need to write a shell script for that, since it is so easy to mess it up.

Hi, this worked fine for me for a while, I lived after getting bit several times....but now for some reason the infectionchange is stuck at a positive value and when i fight zombies, it looks like if i get infected, i die instantly...sometimes i get scratches and bleeds, but sometimes i get oneshot from full hp and get the zombified moodle.

I think the problem was - the infection level sometimes didn't reset to zero. I have changed the "cureVirus" procedure and it seems to be working fine now - I have infected myself a couple of times by fighting zombies and recovered. It still might be something else causing it, so if you reencounter this problem, please let me know.

The patched version should be ready to download soon.
