Up to 255 possible purchases of each ally. 1 of each Airship Upgrade (255 possible purchases for each, but only spawns a max of one, for a total of 12 airships if all are purchased and upgraded to each possible level.)
Costs will still scale with each purchase, so those lategame expenses will be massive and likely unrealistic. Still great for those runs where you have hundreds of thousands of credits to spend in later missions, but have already bought everything.
If you max out, it almost assuredly will lag your PC. The amount you buy is up to you.
