I know a lot of people don't mind the hacking in Prey (or even find it easy), but a fair number of people find it annoying and pointless. Sadly the hacking in Prey relies almost purely on reflexes and has little to do with puzzle solving beyond solving a basic "maze type" puzzle of the fastest path to the end zone. It just feels generally unrewarding to some and just doesn't require a lot of thought to complete.

This simple mod just removes all the obstacles from the hacking game so it will be quite easy to solve any of the puzzles.

This will of course make the game easier and may not be suited for everyone's taste.

IMPORTANT NOTE - Yu CAN USE this mod with existing save files and other mods. This should not effect your current saves in any way.


INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

To use this mod - you simply locate where your game is installed and find the GameSDK folder. 
Mine is \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Prey\

Inside that folder is a subfolder called Precache (i.e. \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Prey\GameSDK\Precache\). 

All you need to do is place the pak file within the precache folder. To uninstall just remove it. Does not affect the official patch file.
