I ran every in-game string through a language translation program multiple times, resulting in a beautiful mess.

Ever wished to understand Prey slightly less? This is the mod for you. I wrote a script that put every in-game string (i.e. everything except for critical game functions and dialog subtitles) through Amazon Translate five times (English --> Chinese --> German --> Thai --> Russian --> English), resulting in something that's similar-but-not-quite the way it was before.
Installation instructions:
This mod should work both for new games and existing games. Should also be compatible with survival mode and New Game Plus.
1. If it isn't set to english already, change your Prey game language to english (in Steam, this can be done via Properties --> Language). This may require downloading additional files.
2. Make a backup of Prey\Localization\English_xml_patch.pak if you want to revert back to it later.
3. Replace English_xml_patch.pak with the english_xml_patch.pak from this mod (files are case insensitive- the capitalization difference can just help to tell the difference between the mod and the original).
4. Run Prey
Uninstallation instructions:
1. Replace english_xml_patch.pak with the backup you made of English_xml_patch.pak earlier. If you forgot to make a backup, you can also just reverify the integrity of your game files.
Compatibility:
This will not be compatible with any mods that also replace english_xml_patch.pak. Otherwise, it should play fine with most other mods.
Troubleshooting:
- New text not appearing? Make sure the mod is correctly installed in the right directory. Also make sure you are using the english version of Prey.
- Some text shows up as @loc_12456789 or @ui_foobar (generally anything prefixed with '@')? That's my bad. Send me a screenshot and I can fix the missing string.
- Game crashes? This hopefully should never happen, but let me know because that's very unexpected.
