About this mod
Lets you use the weapon cosmetics from Mooncrash in Prey. Includes the pre-order Margrave shotgun.
- Permissions and credits
Applies Mooncrash cosmetics to Prey weapons. If you're not familiar with those, you can see them here: https://imgur.com/a/JB5UCmY
Features:
- Applies the skin(s) of your choice to all weapons of that type. Installed the moon camo shotgun mod? Now all shotguns are moon camo!
- Skin will be applied to both the 1st and 3rd person weapon model. Immersive!
- Skin will also be applied to the inventory icon of that weapon.
- Does not require starting a new game in order to use. Jazz up your existing preythroughs!
- Mooncrash not required to install.
- Pre-order Margrave shotgun is also included as an optional file.
Non-features:
- No in-game method of switching skins.
- Skins will not be applied to the pre-order shotgun or golden pistol.
- Does not include the psi cutter or psi cutter skins. (Or pet operator/mimic skins)
- [Survival mode] If the weapon is broken, the inventory icon will be the vanilla skin.
Installation instructions:
1. Place the patch_weapon_theme.pak files you want to use into Prey\GameSDK\Precache.
Skins:
The files are grouped by theme, but I encourage trying to mix and match. Engraved is my go-to though.
Troubleshooting:
Issue: Weapon is suddenly grey after loading into a new area, such as the exterior
Recommended action: Quicksave and reload

- Kasma - Pistol, stun gun, and huntress boltcaster.
- TranStar - Wrench, shotgun, pistol, and q-beam.
- Margrave - Shotgun
