About this mod
Adds some tweaked sizes of foundations, angles and ramps, plus a slightly taller staircase. Two slab varieties for building walkways or gantries (one normal sized, one pod sized) - plus a wide and maxi version, pod wide- and pod-sized respectively. No longer do your foundations have to be out of whack with your pods! Recommend also using Grid Snap.

---Words of caution---
NOTE: This mod IS compatible with the new Moons update.
This mod takes quite a few steps to try and ensure that, even if things go wrong after an update, nothing will be lost.
However - any custom item modded into a game can get lost after an update, so you should always:
1) Back up your save before updating the game
2) Check after loading that the custom pieces are still present in-game before saving, to ensure you don't accidentally lose them!

Modifies the games buildable objects list to add new foundation pieces!
Foundations are now available in 5 sizes:
Original flavour: The foundations that are just slightly too small for your pods to sit on.
Wide-boi: The wide foundations are the same height as the original foundations, but scaled up to the same width as a pod. One pod SHOULD fit exactly on one wide foundation.
Maxi-pad: The maxi foundations are the same width as the wide foundations, but are also increased in height to be the same height as a pod, allowing you to interweave foundations as a support system with pods, should you want.
Slab: Original flavour foundations, dehydrated and squashed down - suitable for making bridges, gantries and walkways.
Slab XL: The same height as the slab, but the same width as the wide/maxi foundations.
Each set has the square, tri and ramp pieces, and as of 1.1.0 - now a quarter-sized piece.
Note that ramps are all scaled to match their respective foundation size (each ramp is a multiple of it's square foundation)
Slab and Slab XL also feature the Stumpy ramp; this is a single-foundation sized version of the ramp.
Foundations will snap to each other nicely (in theory) - but if you are mixing sizes, you'll need to manually line them up how you want them.
Note: Collision boxes have been reduced in 1.1.0 to prevent problems with pieces clipping when snapping. This generally didn't impact people using the Grid Snap mod - but now shouldn't impact anyone!
In addition, enjoy the Maxi Stair!
The maxi-stair has been increased in height, making it possible to build an exterior staircase from the bottom to the top of a pod (partially depending on what your doing with your foundation offsets of course... individual results will vary.)
Snapping woes:
Each piece will snap to itself, and other pieces of it's same "size".
Note that quarter-sized pieces will snap to the middle of their same-sized pieces.
If you want quarter-sized pieces to be placed only on one side, or for mixed-size pieces to be level with each other - then the only current way to do that is to use a mod like Grid Snap and enable "nudge mode" to move them where you want them.
New in 1.2.1 - The Glass Slab.
Available in both regular and XL sized; both full and Quarter versions. These are recycled pod roof windows, but to achieve wrap-around edging [and sufficient strength] - each slab is made up of two copies of the windows, so you'll find them twice as punishing on your system.
New in 1.2.1 - The Pillar.
Available in a full-height and reduced-height; the Pillar has been recycled from wrecks for your building pleasure (god knows you've dismantled enough of them!)
Pillars will snap end-to-end to make it easier to build tall supports, but getting them where you want them might be a bit fiddly. Again - Grid Snap with it's Nudge mode will likely go a long way to help with this. Currently pillars will not target surfaces; they build like foundations do - so you have to do the same awkward manuvering.
New in 1.2.1 - Resized Rails!
Requested more than once - three new sizes of the 'Fence' hand-rail are now available.
Regular - sized to fit a standard foundation.
Quarter - quarter-sized of a standard foundation.
Wide Quarter - somewhere-in-between, and ideal to fill half of a full width foundation (making a full width version would have looked a little rediculous due to the stretching; so just use two of these.)
Disclaimer:
This theoretically works in network games. Both client + server need it installed.
If attempting to use this mod in a network game causes the fabric of your personal reality to look stretched or oddly flattened, then I'm afraid the resizing madness has escaped the mod and there's no hope for you.
