With these changes to wizard abilities, you'll finally be powerful enough for people to believe you when you say "My mom's not like that, guys."

The Funnening - Wizard Augmented


This mod increases the duration of many abilities, increases underwhelming spells, clarifies others, lowers the afflictions of some early spells, and makes the late game spells more interesting.  Some of the changes were inspired by the Balance Polishing mod, which is another overhaul mod worth checking out.  A few icons were changed and the a few spell ability levels were changed, most significantly for Ryngrim's terrifying spells.

- 10s-->12s
- Penetration 0-->7 to help damage lashes also have penetration

5 - Blast of Frost
- moved to level 4 (still gained at level 7 on Watershaper)

5 - Ryngrim's Enervating Terror
- moved to level 7
- Foe AoE-->AoE pulse around self per 3s for 20s
- Terrified 15s-->4s

5 - Wall of Force
- Description fixed for Penetration, attack rate, etc.

6 - Ninagauth's Freezing Pillar
- Damage 34-39-->24-32 per 3s x4 (Watershaper's version is unchanged because it's lvl 9)

6 - Gaze of the Adragan
- moved to level 7
- 2.5m-->1.5m aoe
- -70% move speed for 6s, Petrified afterwards for 6s-->12s

6 - Martial Caster
- +15% Action Speed to cast summoned weapons-->+15% Action Speed with weapons for 30s after casting summoned weapons spells
- stacks with all other effects

6 - Quick Summoning
- +15%-->50% Action Speed casting summon creature spells

6 - Death Ring
- Keyword Acid added to ability (already on attack)

7 - Delayed Fireball
- Description includes length of delay

7 - Llengrath's Warding Staff
- 2.5m Push-->5m
- Hobbled-->not an affliction, -5 dexterity, Cannot run, 40% movespeed slow for 5s (stacking)
- 20% of Damage dealt with the weapon adds to attack speed, given after unsummoning, lasting exactly 10s
- +5 All Defenses
- Effects stack with all other abilities
- Push AoE on Summon ---> Foe AoE
- Removed combat tooltip so the icon isn't on your profile

8 - Kalakoth's Freezing Rake
- AoE-->Foe AoE
- Weakened, Hobbled 8s vs Fortitude --> -10 Accuracy 20s vs Deflection

8 - Wilting Wind
- AoE-->Foe AoE
- Weakened 12s --> -10% max HP until end of battle
- Penetration 0-->7 to fix any damage lash penetration
- new icon

8 - Minoletta's Piercing Sigil
- Penetration info added

8 - Caedebald's Black Bow
- Keyword Acid added to ability (already on attack)

9 - Citzal's Enchanted Armory
- more description
- Weapons 100% Miss to Graze, +5% damage per attack launch
- Armor +5 defense of the type that hits you (up to 10 stacks, excludes Crits and Grazes)
- 25--->45s
- Removed combat tooltip so the icon isn't on your profile

9 - Meteor Shower
- more info on attack rate

9 - Arcane Cleanse
- moved to level 8
- new icon

9 - Petrification
- 12s-->24s
- While petrified, +100% damage from spells
- new icon

9 - Llengrath's Reflection
- 50 spell levels reflected-->infinite
- 75% to resist hostile spells that don't target you initially

- Combat tooltip removed so the icon isn't next to your profile

9 - Minoletta's Missilve Salvo
- Penetration 6-->7
- Rate of fire info added

- Blood Sacrifice now also gives stacking -5% max HP and -2 Fortitude, cleared on death or combat end
- Penetration 0-->7 to fix any damage lash penetration from the raw damage
- Updated the text to give numbers to the introductory subclass description
- Updated ability description

Mod Requirements
---------------------------------
This mod will conflict with any mod that changes the level of existing wizard abilities (where they are on the table).  Mods such as the Community Patch mod and Balance Polishing mod are written carefully to make as little conflicts as possible, and work well whether they are above or below this mod.  Changes from the lowest mod will supercede, and my mod is written more bluntly so it would likely overwrite keywords, damage, and effects when at the bottom.


Installation
---------------------------------
Unzip/unpack the folder and add it to your game's Data\Override folder.
You can use it at any time.

Put this below my Keywords mod if you have it.
This mod is not made for turn-based mode
This mod is made for version 5.0 but is probably fine with any

Modifying this mod:
To change values of the abilities, open it with Notepad++, format it for JSON. Then you can change the Values. Or just delete the ability files you don't want changes to.
