There are a few mods on the Nexus which reduces the difficulty multipliers enemies get on PotD, but they're not well-made. This by default reduces enemies on PotD to have Veteran Difficulty Bonuses, and also cuts down all of the junk that was included in a previous similar mod so that you can easily edit the bonuses in a Notepad.

This mod is explained by the brief overview. If you want to edit the values, pop open VeteranPotDEnemies.gamedatabundle and edit the values you want, it's fairly self-explanatory since I cut out the unnecessary stuff. Also, it actually modifies the enemies difficulty bonuses rather than just outright removing them like another mod. By the way since they're editable, that means you can increase them just as easily as reducing them... if you're into that, :)
